As a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago, I specialize in designing interactive visual analytics systems. My academic journey has been enriched by my role as a Research Assistant at UIC, where I lead the development of open-source projects like UrbanTK, Curio, and Urbanite. These tools are complemented by my contributions as the first author of three IEEE VIS papers.
My professional experience includes a research internship at Salesforce, where I conducted user studies and built a prototype for Tableau, a data science research internship at Nokia Bell Labs, where I developed an interactive platform for analyzing public and influencer opinions on AI, and a data science internship at the Lawrence Berkeley lab, where I developed a tool to analyze years of supercomputers data logs. I am proficient in tool building, data analytics, and data visualization.
